Concrete, Pavers or Natural stone can be a beautiful addition to any home. However they are exposed to elements such as sun, water, salts, grease and other things that fall on them. Without care and maintenance they can lose their initial colors and appeal.
Concrete acts like a sponge and can absorb water and salts. The water can freeze and cause your concrete to spall, pit, and crack. Absorbed salts start to break down the concrete.
Cleaning and sealing will increase their longevity and protects them from the elements. It creates a barrier on top of the surface that repels water, oil, road salts, ice melt or anything else that gets dropped on them. It also enhances their color and reduces surface deterioration and wear.
It is a two-step process. The first step is to clean the surface. We use a commercial grade pressure washer with hot or cold water as needed that is attached to a rotary surface cleaning machine. This machine regulates the position and angle of attack of the water jets for precise cleaning that doesn’t harm the surface.
The second step is applying the sealer. Sealer is sprayed on and the surface is back rolled. Vehicle traffic is restricted for 24 to 48 hours and pedestrian traffic 12 to 24 hrs.
